Musk’s comments that Germany should ‘move beyond’ Nazi guilt are dangerous, says Holocaust memorial chair

The chairman of the World Holocaust Remembrance Center has criticized Elon Musk for insulting Holocaust victims after the billionaire told a German far-right political party that the country should “move beyond” the “guilt” of its past.

In a surprise video message during the launch of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) election campaign on Saturday, Musk stated, "Children should not be held accountable for the wrongs of their parents, much less their grandparents." He went on to say, "There is too much emphasis on past guilt, and it's time to move past it."
