Man arrested after 'serious incident' in north Dublin

A man has been arrested following a "serious incident" in north Dublin, according to Irish police.

PA News reports that multiple people are thought to have been stabbed during the event.

The man was taken into custody in the Stoneybatter area of the city on Sunday and is currently being held at a police station.

Authorities are still present at the scene but have assured the public that there is no "ongoing risk" at this time.
